Learnful offers a structured, school-readiness focused learning environment designed to complement children’s Kindergarten experience.

With highly experienced teachers, engaging lessons and a nurturing environment, Learnful provides children with a positive and supported introduction to school-style learning.
Schedule
Bookings are made in 10 week blocks that align with the Queensland State School terms. Children attend 1 fixed teacher-led session per week for the duration of the term. We also accept enrolments part way through the term if spots are available in classes. We recommend children enrol for a full academic year with us before they enter Prep because the learning progresses with each term, and consistent participation allows students to build on and extend their knowledge.
Enrolments are now open for our 2026 classes. Classes booked out early in 2025, so don't wait! Secure your child's place now so you don't miss out. We are also taking Waitlist bookings for Term 3 & 4 of 2026, 2027 & 2028.
Children enrolled in current classes will be given priority for spots available in the following term's classes. If there are remaining spots available prior to each term commencing, they will be filled based on the order 'Waitlist Forms' were received.

About booking Literacy Power Hour tutoring
'LITERACY POWER HOUR' tutoring is for school-aged students - Prep and Year 1
Separate small-group classes for each year level FREE TRIAL CLASSES AVAILABLE
These small-group sessions are designed for children currently in Prep or Grade 1 (seperate classes), providing explicit, targeted literacy instruction in a warm, engaging environment to help children to thrive in the classroom.
Prep Power Hour: Literacy -
Each 1-hour session focuses on:

letter-sound knowledge and phonics

blending and decoding words

early sentence reading

writing words and simple sentences

developing confidence and independence
Garde 1 Power Hour: Literacy -
Each 1-hour session focuses on:

extending phonics knowledge and spelling patterns

developing strong comprehension skills

writing sentences and short texts with structure

using correct spelling, grammar and punctuation

growing confidence and independence as a learner
Children are taught by highly experienced school teachers who understand exactly what is expected in the Prep and Grade 1 English curriculum, ensuring learning is purposeful, relevant, and immediately transferable to school.
With a maximum of just 6 children per group, each child receives individualised support while still benefiting from a collaborative, positive learning environment.
